About the event
One of the activities will be ‘Squash & Squeeze’, crushing and squeezing the juice out of locally-collected apples and pears using crushing and pressing equipment. It will be a very hands-on experience and you will be able to sample the juice that you’ve just made!
We would welcome any surplus fruit that you might have in your garden. Please let us know how many carrier bags-worth you have and where you live, and volunteers will come round and pick and collect it from you, by mutual arrangement.
We will be collecting from Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 September.
